Directions by Road

From Norwich take the A146 road for Beccles/Lowestoft.

Turn right into Woolners Lane shortly after passing The Old Feathers Pub (about 2 miles from the Norwich bypass)

The Old Rectory is at the junction of Woolners Lane and Fox Lane and is clearly marked by the house sign.

The Old Rectory is a very special place - a welcoming, comfortable and spacious family house in a tranquil estate village of outstanding natural beauty. The house is set in a semi-rural location on the edge of the village of Framingham Pigot. The Parish church of St Andrews is close by. There is a Roman Catholic church in the adjoining village.
Framingham Pigot is an ancient settlement, formerly "Picot" in the ownership of the Norman nobleman "Bigod", who was based at Framlingham in Suffolk. Framingham Pigot is now a mainly private estate village with central parkland, well-kept cottages and set in beautiful woodland. The adjoining villages of Framingham Earl and Poringland provide a good variety of village shops, including pharmacy, general store, filling station and post office.

The beautiful Waveney valley with its riverside towns of Bungay and Beccles is just a short drive away, and both Norfolk and Suffolk Heritage coast are in easy reach.

Norwich main line station (journey to London under 2 hours/ Cambridge 1 hour 11 minutes) connects with the National Rail network and also provides local rail services to North Norfolk and the East coasts.
